World Religions Class
In this short public series, Dr. Jill Carroll of Rice University's Boniuk Center
for Religious Tolerance  and Resident Scholars will explain the "basics" 

of 5 major world religions. introductory session will give an overview of how to study 
and think about religions in a more scholarly, non-devotional context, and will illustrate 
the basic components of all major world religions.  People of all backgrounds 
are welcome, and will find this class helpful regardless of any prior knowledge about religion.
Classes will meet from 7pm-9pm on the following dates: 10/7/08; 10/14/08; 10/21/08; 11/6/08; 11/11/08; 11/18/08.
